Nelson Eduardo Pereira
Managing Partner and Global CEO
Nelson Eduardo Pereira is the founding partner of NeoTrust Services and currently serves as its global CEO. Nelson founded NEO Consulting firstly in Brazil back in 2017 after having contributed to renowned institutions including Citi, SWIFT, HSBC and Mercer Consulting, where he advised institutional and private clients on the front of cross border securities services and capital markets regulation. By founding NeoTrust Services, Nelson put into action his vision of a global open-custody platform centered on the needs of investors and delivering a truly digital-individualized experience.
Nelson is also an active advocate on the institutional front consistently participating on the Brazilian Securities Commission working groups and as speaker on major international investment forums.
Viraj Kulkarni
Board Member
Viraj boasts an impressive 29 years of experience, having served for over 12 years as Country Head of Securities Services at three of the top five Global Custodians: Citi Bank (in India and Switzerland), JP Morgan Chase, and BNP Paribas, he was also part of the ASPAC Management Board. His extensive background spans both emerging and advanced capital markets. In 2013, he became the only Indian to receive recognition for leadership in India from Global Custodian through an APAC industry nomination. In May 2019, he was named one of the Global 30 Securities Services Experts by Global Custodian. Currently, Viraj serves as a Director at PIVOT Consultants (Cyprus) Ltd. and holds independent director positions in Indian corporations. He has participated in industry committees in India and Switzerland and is acknowledged as an expert on the NSE Academy’s Knowledge Hub. Known for his thought leadership, he frequently writes about ease of doing business and is regularly featured in electronic media. He is also a Fellow member of ICSI.

A lawyer by training, I work at the intersection of international fund structuring and business development, helping asset managers scale cross-border investment strategies between Europe and Latin America. With a background in wealth planning and international tax law, I’ve spent more than two decades advising financial institutions on the design and governance of Luxembourg-regulated investment vehicles, spanning private strategies and institutional platforms. Today, I focus on the development of alternative fund structures, regulatory alignment, and supporting managers seeking an institutional-grade gateway into Europe.

NeoTrust Omnibus Holder
cost-efficient structure
1. Omnibus Account Holder is a legal entity established in Luxembourg.
2.The Master Legal Representation Agreement is be signed between the Omnibus Holder and the Legal Representative in Brazil (LR).
3. Omnibus Holder and LR performs KYC of the investors known as passengers.
4. Passagens have their investments in segregated safekeeping accounts at the custodian and depository in Brazil.
5. Each investor completes an Investor Form (PAF), adhering to the Legal Representation Agreement and Custody Agreement.
6. NeoTrust takes all the onboarding steps with the Legal Representative and Custodian in Brazil.
7. Instruction flow and reports are transmitted directly to/from local custodian in Brazil.
